What makes microgreens different from regular vegetables?
Microgreens are young seedlings harvested just after the cotyledon leaves develop (usually within 7-14 days). Research shows that in this early growth phase, they contain up to 40 times higher concentrations of essential vitamins and enzymes than mature vegetables.
Are your microgreens pesticide-free?
Yes, absolutely! All our microgreens are grown in a soil-free hydroponic medium inside controlled indoor vertical farms. We use pure, RO-filtered water and organic coco-coir. We use zero pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic growth fertilizers.
How does the FarmHour Essential subscription work?
The FarmHour Essential subscription costs ₹999/month and includes 8 deliveries (2 deliveries per week: every Tuesday and Friday). In each delivery, you receive a rotating variety of fresh microgreens (e.g. broccoli, radish, sunflower shoots, pea shoots, or our signature mix) cut that very morning. Delivery is completely free.
How long do the microgreens stay fresh?
Because we deliver within hours of harvest, our microgreens stay crisp and nutrient-rich for up to 7 to 9 days when stored in an airtight container in your refrigerator's vegetable drawer.
